Most people are familiar with the idea of "ghosts". I think, perhaps, a definition of "light beings" and "shadow people" is in order.
Shadow people I am only a little familiar with. They are shades that appear in the shape of humans, and y'can see them walking around. That's really about all I know.
Light beings I am not familiar with when it comes to the physical plane. I suppose, if one believes in astral projection, their existence can be accounted for. I've seen beings like this in such places, but I am not familiar with any accounts in the waking world.
Does anyone have any standard definitions of these terms?

Naturally, vague descriptions such as "Shadow People" and "Light Beings" can applied to different entities.
Shadow People can range from shades as you say, to actual physical entities in the world right next to ours, who appear as shadowy figures to us. It's even suggested that Djinn may appear as Shadow People.
Now Light Beings! lol The hard one. Like shadow people, it can be applied to many different entities. In many cases, used to describe beings like like shadow people, only they appear to be made of liquid light. Other people use the term "Light Being" to describe Angels. And still a good bit of others use the term to describe any entity which contains a soul, including us.
