The Collision of Life and Fate

Few events which may occur in a person’s lifetime will happen without reason or explanation. If with reason, it is elusive, peculiar or anomalous. Most people base their feeding of knowledge through trust of their palpability or logical analysis based on conclusion with solid evidence. Some people will call this Destiny, others will call this Fate. Many people associate Fate with Destiny or being the equivalent of each other. Although, through studies I have done, I have learnt they are slightly different in circumstances and etymology.
The word Destiny originated from the Old French word Destinée, which derives from the past participle of the Latin word Destinare meaning Make firm, establish, created from De- meaning an intensifier, and a form of stare meaning stand. The Indo-European source of 'stare' is ‘sta’- meaning to stand, and it has produced myriad progeny in the Indo-European languages, among English stable a place where horses stand, ‘static’ standing (not changing), and ‘obstinate’ to have a mind that is standing; to set one's mind on.
The word Fate originated from the Latin word Fatum meaning What has been spoken. Fae in turn comes from the Vulgar Latin word Fata, The goddess of Fate, from Fatum. If 'Fae' goes back to 'Fate', so does 'Fey' in a manner of speaking, for its Old English ancestor Faege meant "Fated to die". In Roman mythology, the ‘Fata’ were the three terrifying sisters Nona, Decima and Parcae, who determined the length and quality of each person's life.
Now, Etymologies do not necessarily corroborate the meanings or definitions of words, in so far as how they are used. They just tell us as from where they originated and why. So let’s come to an understanding of why words such as Destiny and Fate were formed. ‘Destiny’ originating from the Latin word ‘Destinare’ meaning “Make firm, establish” – This simply implies that ones actions ensure a result, by determination. By saying this, one that knows there is a resolution (Destiny) and fulfills it through choice. 'Fate' originating from the Latin word 'Fatum' meaning "What has been spoken” – This means prediction. It is a force that predetermines events without choice. In other words, when encountered by such the event, one has no choice but to submit.
Follow through this post with me as I express the distinction of each theory in their relation to what constitutes Fate or Destiny through the process of Time and whether our lives are governed by them.
Let’s begin this assessment with Mental Causation of an individual. Every human being subconsciously is with thought (mental states) and actions (physical states) to follow after, though one will realize it or not. The fundamental foundation of Destiny is without reason, not limited to one who can replace (mental states) with (chemical states), or (biological states), etc. The problem thus is a general one. If we conceive physical states in the last resort as the states that are described by a fundamental and universal physical theory – such as quantum field theory or general relativity – the causal exclusion problem touches not only mental causes but physical causes also. So in fact the acceptance of Destiny is improbable to the 'Mental states or Microphysical states' of a human being, simply because the (mental causes) are predetermined in actions without realizing the actions (physical causes) are the solution, the destination.
“La Forza Del Destino - The Force of Destiny”
Elaborating on this further, if one suffered a headache (mental cause), then reached for an aspirin (physical cause), the problem is resolved. The result to a headache was to take an aspirin; mental cause, determined its Destiny through physical cause. If one abandons the physical causes, one has to maintain that all the effects that mental causes produce are simultaneously produced by physical causes without notice; the result is suffer the headache (also Destiny). There are physical laws and initial conditions that yield a certain probability for states of reaching for an aspirin occurring and there are mental causes, distinct from the physical causes that yield the very same probability. Without Mental Causation or Free Will/Choice (as some will call it), there is no Destiny or Destination for a person.
Below is a list of ‘The Physical Laws’:
• Truth - By definition, there have never been repeatable contradicting observations.
• Universal - They appear to apply everywhere in the universe.
• Simplicity - They are typically expressed in terms of a single mathematical equation.
• Unconditioned - Nothing in the universe appears to affect them.
• Firm - Unchanged since first discovered.
• Eternal- They appear unchanged since the beginning of the universe.
• Unlimited Power - Everything in the universe apparently must comply with them.
• Precise - Generally conservative of quantity.
• Equipollent - Often expressions of existing homogeneities of space and time.
• Revocable - Typically theoretically reversible in time (if non-quantum), although time itself is irreversible.
Please note: I added the words in italics to define the Physical Laws for your convenience.
The dilemma is high in reasoning, assessing or interpreting Fate in the study of Mental Causation, showing some physical laws are false, because they do not indicate the correct probabilities for the occurrence of physical states of certain types (that is, those states which also have mental causes, the mental causes being distinct from the physical ones) in Fate. However, the way an individual perceives a fortuitous event (Fate) can be assessed through Mental Causation (Mind Philosophy and Mind Physics). It is sufficient to conceive causation as a relation between individual states (mental and physical states). This is the reason to why one will rationalize the foundations of Fate, but are left with disbelief. This means one is not able to validate or reason with Fate if their mental and physical causes are not accountable or the cause of the event.
Below is a list of ‘The first and second Laws of Nature and Contracts’:
• Every man ought to endeavor peace, as far as he has hope of obtaining it; and when he cannot obtain it, that he may seek and use all helps and advantages of war.
• A man be willing, when others are so too, as far forth, as for peace, and defense of himself he shall think it necessary, to lay down this right to all things, and be contented with so much liberty against other men, as he would allow other men against himself.
Below is a list of ‘The other Laws of Nature’:
• A man cannot lay down the right of resisting them that assault him by force, to take away his life.
• A man's conscience and his judgment is the same thing; and as the judgment, so also the conscience, may be erroneous.
• Appetite, with an opinion of attaining, is called hope; the same, without such opinion, despair.
• Science is the knowledge of consequences and dependence of one fact upon another.
• Such is the nature of men, that howsoever they may acknowledge many others to be wittier, or more eloquent, or more learned; yet they will hardly believe there are many as wise as themselves.
• The secret thoughts of a man run over all things, holy, profane, clean, obscene, grave, and light, without shame or blame.
• War consistent not in battle only, or the act of fighting; but in a tract of time, wherein the will to contend by battle is sufficiently known.

If Fate is a predetermined event that an individual is forced to endure, without ones knowledge, it is then perceived as a part of Nature, for example: what one does not know before hand is considered natural, as the life for a new born or the knowledge one has of animals that do not know of their purpose. It is the same for human beings. Technically speaking Fate is of Natural Order and Universal Order. Everything in life has a purpose. Animals, Trees, Insects, Four Elements, Micro-Organisms, (many more) and of course all of these are a part of the ‘Food Chain’ of Life, it is the force that balances existence. Manifestly, the end of ones life is Death, declaring this as an event (Fate) that one can not obviate or alter in any way, without the prognostication of when and where it is going to occur. That is Fate as it is a part of the Natural Order of Life. It is inevitable.
So continue to wade through this post with me as I assess the theories, presumptions, estimations, and conceptualisms of Time and how it is relevant to Fate. Assuming that everything in Physical Cosmology, Universal Order and Natural Order have an end, the end (Fate) depends on the continuance of Time and Space, whether they are codependent to define reality (Natural Order), and whether they are infinite.
Albert Einstein’s famous equation:
E = mc2
Describes the relationship between:
• Mass (m)
• Electromagnetic Energy (E)
• Speed of light (c)

Einstein’s theory of space and time show they are a continuous nonspatial whole or succession in which no part or portion is defined of distinguishable from adjacent parts. The supposition is that time does not exist independently of the space-time relations exhibited by physical events. The lightcone boundary of space-time corresponds to a ‘Big Bang’ from which age was measured. Redshift and universe homogeneity are correlated. Now the "Big Bang" theory can be challenged. For example: everything right down to micro-organisms has a balance or an antidote, an equilibrium. When either axis of the balance, i.e. two nuclei collides, obviously it causes an electromagnetic process, in turn to something that is revolutionized by impact. That then is the result of force (Newton’s Laws of Force further down).
Expatiating on this further: applying Newton’s laws of force and equation to the conclusion that decisively constructs the ‘Big Bang’ theory in illation of two buses. Two buses traveling from opposite directions towards each other, traveling at the same speed (a), both the same in mass (m). When both buses collide into each other the impact is an electromagnetic and gravitational force, the after math and forces of the collision results in mass equal to the buses combined, this impact was the result to a revolutionary concept. The electromagnetic and gravitational force upon impact causes debris from the two buses to flare out and causes an alternation in time for those affected by the collision, the buses and surroundings.
Electromagnetic and gravitational actions are “at a distance” in Wheeler-Feynman sense while strong (color) and weak (isospin) actions, as well as action of particle motion, are “local” in a sense paralleling the action of local field theory. “Nonmaterial” path segments and “trivial events” collaborate to define energy and gravity. If the Universe (existence) was created from a “Big Bang” in other words 'Collision' - this had to be the result of two opposing or balanced forces so great in energy the electromagnetic force was only one. Take note, that when two of the same particles collide there are two types of electromagnetic forces that can occur. A photon from one ion can strike the other or, photons from each nucleus can collide, in a photon-photon collision.
Electromagnetism, carried by photons moving through space, binds electrons to atomic nuclei and thus is responsible for all chemical reactions. According to quantum theory, gravity is alike the other forces in that it must be carried by special force carrying particles, called gravitons, which move back and forth between particles of matter. Though, gravitons have never been discovered to know if they exist. The ‘String Theory’ (The Ultimate Theory) of quantum mechanics and general relativity combined, tell us that general relativity describes gravity, not as a force extenuated of subatomic particles but as a semblance or illusion as the result from the curvature of space. Spanning from an object in infinite directions to another object of lesser mass with a pulling force depending on the mass of an object determines the force (Gravity) it has on other objects.
Below is Isaac Newton’s ‘Three Laws of Force’:
• First Law - Objects in motion tend to stay in motion, and objects at rest tend to stay at rest unless an outside force acts upon them.
• Second Law - The rate of change of the momentum of a body is directly proportional to the net force acting on it, and the direction of the change in momentum takes place in the direction of the net force.
• Third Law - To every action (force applied) there is an equal but opposite reaction (equal force applied in the opposite direction).
Isaac Newton’s famous equation:
F = ma
Describes Newton’s Second Law as:
• Force (F)
• Mass (m)
• Acceleration (a)

Assuming the combination of Newton’s Laws of Force and Einstein’s theory on relativity are accurate, and plausible, the opposing virtues of an equilibrium or balance of Existence will guarantee a deceleration in time, or perhaps commencement of time in the collision of the two but also acknowledges the fact that there was time before the ‘Big Bang’. However, from the ‘Big Bang’ came civilization, life, our dimension, our existence so most would initialize this as being the beginning of time. Going by this theory of force, the ‘Big Bang’ theory is now accountable as inadequate in space-time relations. Space-time didn’t just evolve from the ‘Big Bang’; it preexisted through the collision of two equal forces. Dimensions before the ‘Big Bang’ would explain this. The ‘String Theory’ tell us of eleven dimensions approximately, one of those being ‘Non-Matter’. This meaning perhaps psychic or clairvoyant tendency (the ability to see things others can not), or it is possibly defining the foundation of a Soul as most question the existence of an ‘afterlife’, or phenomena in one’s life.
“And scientifically, it is apparent that there must be some as yet unmeasured entity acting at cause over the biological organisms known as humanity, an entity which humans instinctively refer to as a “soul”.” - Knot4Prophet
In religion some will have us believe God created the universe which by physics is not accurate unless God is two forces of non-matter. The fate of the universe can not be measured but presuming there were other dimensions previous to the ‘Big Bang’ then fate of life and physical cosmology as we know it will take place if two strong forces collide, and from that a new beginning will evolve and time will commence anew as civilization will have it. In this case, to associate Fate with physical cosmology or universal order, by interpreting the Latin form of Fate - Fatum “What has been spoken” to “What will be done” with each other, means forced to repeat an event that has happened or been spoken of, but the dependence of time can only tell.
In summary of this post there is a great distinction between Fate and Destiny. Destiny being a result to ones actions both Mental and Physical Causation and Fate being a part of the foundation of life and existence, that we are forced to endure, as we are forced to eat to survive or forced to love to be happy. We are unable to distinguish the causes of Fate but few people (psychics or clairvoyants) are able to make predictions or if one is so sure that something will happen that when it occurs, is fate (prediction). The most promising constitution of Fate is the foundations of Death. We all know that our Fate is Death. Death in this dimension is a part of life, which we can not avoid. And whatever events that may happen before Death, the reason is limited to ones intelligence or perception of it. So, however you choose to perceive a moment or instance in time, depends on your intelligence, whether you are able to initiate reason or you interpret it as a force that is a part of the Natural Order of Life.
