"Astronomers announced Friday that an object they discovered in the distant reaches of the solar system is large enough to be the 10th planet -- a claim likely to reignite a debate over just how many objects should be called planets." - CNN
A new planetary body found on the outskirts of the solar system. And get this, it's bigger than pluto. Makes you wonder what else is out there in our own solar system.

It's name is: 2003 UB313, well it's a number. The number four brightest object in the Kuiper-Belt. Distance from our sun is 97 AU, 1 AU equals 149.6 million km, so it's a long way away. October 31, 2003 was the date it was discovered, by astronomer Michael Brown and his team at Caltech. 2003 UB313 is about one and a half quarter times the size of pluto. That's like 2,860 km accross. Distance away from pluto is about three times farther away. It will be interesting to hear about it more, and i certainly want more knowledge about it.
