This can be a place where we discuss anything that relates to any kind of dream or vision you've had that you'd like to share with others about. Why? Well, maybe there might be someone on here who might be more knowledgable and know what you drempt of or saw in a vision might mean or be symbolic of.
So, I have two questions right off hand. Do any of you on here know what the difference between having a vision and a dream is? And, is there a distinct difference between the two? To try to answer my own questions and to maybe inform others on here who don't, I believe that there is a difference. A dream can actually be many different things, and there also are many kinds of dreams that the individual can have. Psychologists talk about there being what are called, lucid dreams or lucid dreaming. That kind of dream is where you can control what happens in your dream, and that can happen if: 1. You realize you're dreaming 2. You know that you can do and control what's happening. 3. You're dreaming mind is somehow connected to your physical and awake mind and you're able to experience, see and do what you want to do during this kind of dream.
Another type of dream that a person can have is ESP. Extra Sensory Perception. This is where the individual has a dream and then experiences what had occured in their dream in real life. It could be right after you had that dream, or it could happen to you later on during your life.
So, dreams seem to be quite special in the way that they can either be fun or we can gain some sort of message from them, possibly from our loved ones who had passed on even, spirit guides, God, aliens, etc.. They can even help inspire us to later on produce movies, write books, and so on. An example of this is Jim Henderson. His movie The Dark Crystal that was out sometime in the 1980s as I've been told was actually inspired by a dream he once had whenever he was a young child! Now, that's really awesome and so was his movie that he made based on his dream that he chose to share with millions of other viewers!
Now, as for a vision...they normally seem to happen during different instances. They can happen for an individual during a dream-like state, meditation or even while they're awake driving down the road sitting in their car in traffic. Maybe visions are nothing more than our mind being open to the other part of the reality that we normally seem to not believe even exists. The part of reality that many seem to greatly fear, because we don't yet know or understand it. Visions could be telepathic messages too, sent by deceased loved ones, spirit guides, angels, God, aliens and so forth for various different reasons. Or, perhaps, they're something that we're picking up ourselves that we want to learn more about and see. They could even be nothing more than a thoughtform.
So, visions and dreams as you just read, could be a number or even a combination of different things. Those are just my thought, opinions and theories on what dreams and visions are, and what their differences are between both of them. If anyone else would like to share what they think here about them, or have any questions to ask, or have a dream or vision that you'd like to share, please go right ahead and post it/them!
